Have you aspired to a full Alimiyyah but wondered whether you are cut out for it for the next six years?

 

Are you afraid of becoming a dropout, that will get married and move away, or that might not have the time for the whole Alimiyyah programme, even though you feel you have the capability to become a scholar were you given the right resources and tuition?

 

These are all valid questions. At Hafs Academy, we are actively looking to create solutions for this segment of the Muslim society that are enthusiastic about Islamic knowledge but have trepidations about whether the whole six years is for them. To this end, we have painstakingly created a two-year Islamic Diploma that is as good as two years of the Alimiyyah – and then some.

 

It covers the foundational subjects of the Alimiyyah, blending it with contemporary discussions a scholar would face in the modern world, exposing students to an array of challenging and mind-opening religious and philosophical questions for them to explore with their teachers. There is also a language element that focuses on Conversational Arabic, Classical Arabic, and Modern Standard Arabic. Price competitively at £999 per year, these two years have been structured as a course in and of itself, with the Islamic Diploma degree conferred at the end of it. Blending online and in-person tuition, students at the end of the two years, can decide whether they have fulfilled their knowledge aspirations and retire to serve the society at large in whatever capacity they can, or whether want to go further for another four years for an official Alimiyyah degree, to which students can transfer via the Summer Conversion Course, which we at Hafs Academy are currently working on for the summer of 2027.
